The National Film Board of Canada (NFB)
I had the great honour of serving as the sole Character Artist for the NFB’s “The Book of Distance” project which was a virtual reality experience featured in many film festivals and currently on display in the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Seoul, Korea. The VR experience is about the untold story of the Japanese Canadian internment camps and their experience during World War II. Specifically, the story follows the personal family story of Director Randall Okita who’s family lived through this experience first hand. The experience is available for free on Steam.
